This idiot made a plane for his own challenge…
Greetings. This is, so to speak, the debut of my F-500 aircraft series (yeah, I'm that bad at coming up with names, but I still want to name my planes somehow).
Now, specifically about the F-501: the idea behind it is to make a simple and cheap multirole aircraft, primarily intended for ground attack and close air support missions. In this configuration, it carries 10 Mk.82 bombs, 2 of them in an internal bay (press 1 to open it), and 4 Guardian multipurpose missiles for self-defense against both enemy aircraft and ground fire. It also has two 25mm cannons with a total of 240 rounds. This setup is meant to serve as a light, fast bomber, striking stationary or slow-moving enemy targets directly at the front line and in the close rear (basically, exactly the conditions of my own challenge). But overall, I believe the F-501 can perform other tasks just as well.
Oh, and yeah — I made it just for fun, based on my own challenge conditions. F-501 won’t be participating in it itself.
