The Mark 8 UKPR is a 6-ton unguided kinetic projectile designed to be launched from space; it uses gravity to accelerate to a maximum terminal phase velocity of over Mach 24. Launches of this weapon are typically thoroughly calculated to achieve maximum possible accuracy. It is produced from either depleted uranium or tungsten.

@MysteryTimeTraveler I have an idea for getting it to Mach 24 or higher.

Actually, it's not Mach 24. Theres a different way to accelerate it to Mach 24. Powderkeg used a different method as normally launching a projectile like this would only achieve Mach 10 according to USAF calculations
    ][
"In the case of the system mentioned in the 2003 Air Force report above, a 6.1 m × 0.3 m tungsten cylinder impacting at Mach 10 has a kinetic energy equivalent to approximately 11.5 tons of TNT (or 7.2 tons of dynamite)"
    ][
Also Depleted Uranium is less dense than Tungsten and it's self sharpening properties result in less mass in impact from mass loss when traveling through the atmosphere
    ][
It's also lacking an RCS system which would likely mean the accuracy is pretty limited, likely not for any sort of precision strike
