You get 15 points for every upvote. There are two exceptions to this rule. Mods get 25 points per upvote and forum posts get 2.

i thought i made it pretty clear, but anyway: how does one get points? when trying to upvote a creation a popup stating "you need atleast 30 points to upvote" appears. thus im trying to figure out what the best and or fastest way to acquire points is.
