La-15

Well I guess this is one of my first real historical builds. The Lavochkin La-15, NATO reporting name Fantail, was an early soviet jet fighter and a contemporary of the Mig-15. The La-15 had a barrel-like fuselage, shoulder-mounted swept wings with 6 degrees anhedral, and stabilizers mounted high on the fin, almost a T-tail. It was popular with pilots because of its easy handling and reliability, and its pressurized cockpit was an advantage at high altitude. Nevertheless, official enthusiasm for the La-15 was mild, largely because it was a complex design that required complicated and expensive production tooling. Only 235 La-15s were built, serving with the Soviet Air Force until 1953. (Source: Wikipedia)

Read your comment about your La-15 in the Type 65 post! I personally like this La-15, its very simple. As for my opinion on how you can make it better, Lets start with the wings ; The La-15s wings are wide on the wing root and gradually gets smaller going to the end of the wing as most aircrafts do. same goes for the horizontal stabilizers (Elevator), The La-15s Elevator has the same angle as its wings. And as you may notice in the description you wrote down it had a 6˚ anhedral, so thats a great way to improve the wings shape, and if you look at the wings of an La-15, they had wing fences (2 on each wing) that are easily mimic-able by using small fuselage blocks to imitate them. The rear landing gears should be just before the wing root. Now for the performance! ; The La-15 had a good roll rate, but the roll rate is a little extreme on yours, so its better to make it smaller to make it roll slower. And for the pitch, try making the control surface on the elevator bigger so it can turn tighter. Speed is way off of its top speed in reality as well so its better if you can find a way to slow it down.

Hope this helped you! and thank you for the comment :)
