F-18E-ANM

Okay look, I know I've built like two of these now but be assured I won't be making anythi-- gets blasted a second time by an AGM-65B

Description

The F-18E-ANM is a fictional aircraft from the Anime "Girly Air Force", it is piloted by an Anima by the name of Rhino, an American-made anima, she appears on episode 9 to 12 and boasts a sociable and curious personality, she bears the call sign "Sapphire 01".

Her plane is a modification of the F-18E Hornet, an American carrier-based air superiority fighter, her plane was equipped with CFTs (conformal fuel tanks), thrust vectoring, redesigned control surfaces, increased loadout, and most importantly, a neuralink system which allows the pilot to "synchronise" with the aircraft, this allows the pilot to control the aircraft systems (wings, tails, thrust vectoring, weapons, radar, etc) simply with thoughts from the brain, this system appears on the airplane as E.G.G Lines (seriously it's called that look it up), which are those rings and lines all over the aircraft, which will retract when the pilot is not synchronized with the aircraft (i.e when outside or when the aircraft is turned off).

The Rhino would take part in several missions with the other Animas such as Gripen, however, due to mysterious and unclear circumstances, it has yet to return from it's last mission, her whereabouts is unknown.

In this SimplePlanes version, well it's the second time I built this kind of plane and yes it has been quite a tedious process, obviously it is a replica of the F-18 from the show Girly Air Force and features a lot of abilities corresponding to the show, such as supermanueverability, 360 missiles, veins, and others, however unlike my Gripen-ANM replica this one has a canonically correct loadout and has the correct missile shape (the replica Gripen has it's missile based on the IRS-T while this one was correctly based on the AAM-5), other than that, it has been my second anime based replica I've made, enjoy.

Controls

AG2 : supermanueverability
AG4 : open cockpit + retract lines
AG7 : lights

Notes

It likes to randomly explode if you pull too hard on the controls, probably has to do with the engine nozzles.
Also, the missiles sometime flew into the fuselage while turning into the target, so be careful
