The Navantia SMART-6000 is a conceptual multi-role frigate from the Spanish shipbuilder Navantia, part of its scalable SMART (Scalable Modular Agile Robust Technology) family of warships. Measuring around 145+ meters in length, it is designed to bridge the gap between the smaller SMART-4000 (120+ meters) and the larger SMART-8000 (170+ meters). The SMART-6000 aims to deliver a balanced blend of versatility, endurance, and firepower, making it well-suited for a wide range of naval missions from high-intensity combat to maritime security operations.

The frigate features a modular and stealthy design, enabling flexible mission configurations and future upgrades. It is expected to carry vertical launch systems (VLS) for surface-to-air and land-attack missiles, advanced radar and sensor suites, likely including SCOMBA or Aegis integration, and full aviation facilities for helicopters and UAVs. With its blue-water capability, the SMART-6000 is intended to operate as a core escort in fleet operations or as a capable standalone platform in NATO or international missions.

Armament includes:
• 22 ASTER-30 surface-to-air missiles
• 6 quad-packed ESSMs for medium-range defense
• 17 Naval Strike Missiles (NSM) for surface or land attack
• 14 RUM-139 VL-ASROC for anti-submarine warfare.
• retractable 155mm railgun as the main gun
• 45mm secondary cannon mounted behind the superstructure, and a long helicopter pad capable of supporting two helicopter landings or accommodating a CH-53 or CH-47 Chinook.
