The successor to the A-100 and the expected replacement model, the A-171 has many advantages over it's predecessor.

Better cockpit visibility for pilots thanks to large windows.


How to fly:

Takeoff:

Set throttle around 30-40% until you reach rotation speed of about 135kts (155mph). Bring gear up. See Landing Gear.

Landing:

Fly final approach at about 135kts (155mph) with flaps at full. Touch down smooth, and use braking procedures. See Activation Groups.


Landing Gear

Opening Simulator:

Press ACT2 and use RetractLandingGear toggle to bring up gear doors.

Gear Up:

Activate ACT2 and use ExtendLandingGear toggle to extend the landing gear doors. Then deactivate ACT2 and activate ACT1, then activate RetractLandingGear toggle to bring up the gear. Deactivate ACT1 and activate ACT2 to bring up the gear doors. Deactivate ACT1,2 when done.

Gear Down: Do Gear Up in reverse.

Toggle landing gear.

Activation2:

Toggle landing gear doors.

Activation3:

Toggle Thrust Reversers (use brake to open.)

Activation4:

Toggle Speed Brakes (use brake to open.)

Activation5:

Landing Lights

Beacon Lights

Activation7:

NAV Lights
