@YarisHatchback yeah, the only part that looks sus are the bogies, it's like they come from one of those early steam test vehicles
@hpgbproductions ik it does look surprisingly high quality despite using random parts that are available, i genuinely didn't intend to come off as negative (because i wasn't)
@YarisHatchback it genuinely looks very high quality and not slapped together wdym
@hpgbproductions fair, also, what are your thoughts on the slapped together aussie rail tractor?
@YarisHatchback they are too lazy to build a cab🥀🥀 (the rest of the body looks handmade though)
@hpgbproductions i mean, it's still cool that they're able to turn a japanese napping van into a shunter nonetheless, i just personally find it goofy that instead of building a simple switcher from scratch or from random ass components (see victorian railways rail tractor) they instead chose a van
@YarisHatchback it is a mini shunter that uses the cab of a chopped up R40/R50 LiteAce
It is used by Mikasa Railway Memorial Hall
@hpgbproductions also, what the fuck is this abomination dawg
@hpgbproductions damn, i thought y'all have actual kei utility vehicles on the road and not some chinese utility vehicle 💀
@YarisHatchback yes, although probably singapore only gets the kei vans (we only get the chinese license-built trucks😔😔😔)
That said, yamashiro isn't a 1-to-1 copy of any single company, i guess it's like a small toyota, or more diverse daihatsu. The name is a mitsubishi and navy ship reference
genuinely curious though, are yamashiro kei trucks/vans also canonically sold, and is also popular in indonesia, malaysia, thailand, the philippines, singapore, etc.?
