Who needs bombs when you've got 70mm APFSDS Cannons at your disposal? The Tropocaster is an attacker / parasite fighter designed to attack in stealth while having superb handling, better than the F-9C in terms of stability and firepower [obviously]. However, here's the catch; the Tropocaster has much less top speed than the other fighter, but who needs speed when you've got all the handling in the world. The 6 rear cannons are meant to decimate any bogies on their tail. The 70mm cannons are facing in front, while the 30mm MG faces forward. Tests proved that although the F-9C is far superior against the Tropocaster, it can't turn as well and the Tropocaster can rival the old Pummeler Series
