Made for Phox's Supermaneuvrability Challenge
Following the request for a superiority aircraft by the Air Force, much more maneuverable than other interceptors, faster, several manufacturers studied the project. SNCASO has manufactured a prototype, baptized Azur, equipped with two canards, three rocket engines, two of which are at the wingtips.
The project was abandoned for lack of resources. The Mirage IIIE and IV was then under study.
The controls are very simple.
- Throttle to Throttle.
- Fire guns to fire guns.
- Trim to Trim.
This aircraft is equipped with two AA20 missiles, as well as two 30mm DEFA guns.
