The Phoenix was a carrier-based Interceptor meant to be a platform for the Globetrotter long range missile, the first of its kind, to defend carrier fleets from long range bombers. It also carried such a generous missile capacity that would any warmonger drool. The interceptor proved to not only be a highly effective Air-to-Air platform, but also a very maneuverable one, with some of the most powerful (and fuel hungry) engines with a 2 stage afterburner system.
VTOL up for flaps, down for wing sweep and glove vanes, Activate 1 for arrestor hook, 2 to jettison fuel tanks, 3 to activate refuelling probe, 4 to jettison Globetrotter missiles, 5 to jettison rear hardpoints, 6 to open canopy, 7 to eject, 8 for master arm

@teddyone02 the real tomcat's wing was built like that too, certain design parameters that made it as maneuverable and fast as it is also causes it to shake and rattle like a poorly built pickup in high g turns

Does anybody have tips to make planes not all look the same? I just posted my j 23 falcon but im having a hard time makeing its newer brother look less simeler and i did think about it being vtol but i have no clue how tp do that
