Swarm version (multiple spawnable at once) here
- The Defensive bombers series’ aim is to make killing AI bomber targets 10x more difficult, because fun is not allowed
- This modification is a suggestion from the original creator @Dogedogebread13. Make sure to go to the original build if you want to play with the bomber yourself!
- This bomber has an all around pretty good defensive armament. Your best bet will probably be attacking the front of the aircraft from below, where no turrets will be able to fire.
Functional armament
(Spawn as AI in aggressive mode, guns will activate and deactivate depending on if they are in arc)
-2x twin turrets (dorsal) (covers all areas except for the bottom of the aircraft)
-1x twin turret (dorsal) (covers all bottom areas of the aircraft)
-1x single gun (rear) (covers the direct rear of the aircraft
Notes
- This bomber also has explosive cannons as its armament. It’s gonna be the default from now on.
- Nothing else to really say, another bomber, another… yeah I don’t know.

Me-262 C-1a was smart and dive bombed them, which actually worked.

@TheUltimatePlaneLover I looked into this recently, and in order for an aircraft to be critically damaged (which makes it lock proof) 1/3 of its parts have to be destroyed. I haven’t actually tested it yet, but it should be pretty simple. Then I just have to find out how to keep the engines working and stuff.
(Also that dang P-51 still lives even after the change to explosive rounds!?!?!?)

My PEA P-51 is literally the only plane I know can withstand these Defensive Bombers, everything else just.. dies ;-;
Also this might be hard but do you think you could possibly make some Defensive Bombers lock-proof like these? I'm sure it would be very difficult (I can't figure out how these MiGs work myself lol) but worth it for sure, then you would have a double benefit of being missile-proof and allowing multiple at once.
