Prototype 242…

Comrades,

There is no sugarcoating this. In spite and wake of the Monarchii War, Siren War, and Crestel Conflict, another war is potentially at hand. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won't. But if it does, we will go against our toughest opponents yet. And let it be reminded that we've fought navies of endless sizes and ships that can cross dimensions in the blink of an eye, and even they can't match up to our possible foes. As such, it goes without saying that we have to be ready to fight.
And this right here is my solution.

Backstory

There is no lore to Prototype 242, not yet at least. Unlike other weapons we've seen, the P-242 is designed to counter a modern if not future issue, just like the A-40Si. P-242 is [REDACTED]
Well, you'll see for yourself. The air and sea wars will be a clash to the end, but it's our hope that Prototype 242 will secure a swift victory on the land theatres.

PLANNED UPGRADES:

As the "Prototype" (or P-) in Prototype 242/P-242's name suggests, this is not the finished version, and is, for the most part, a tech demonstrator. In the future, it will have much improved armor, including underside armor to hopefully protect against mines. Speaking of, P-242 is planned to have a retractable plow, but this may get saved for another variant. Another feature the P-242 is confirmed to receive in the finished version is a top-mounted turret machine gun, likely similar to fellow tank destroyer AMX-10M. It will also feature air pushers to allow it to have propulsion and control in water. Other improvements are planned, but classified either due to the said upgrades either being so small to the point of formal irrelevance, or as one would assume, too important and high-tech to be revealed.

What do we know about the current P-242?

In terms of non-sensitive details regarding the current state of P-242, things that can be revealed so far include the following:
-P-242 is incredibly durable to falls, being able to jump off hills and usually land without critical damage
-For that matter, P-242 has enough speed and torque to jump off hills in spite of its heavy armor and thus weight
-P-242 lacks a turret, as do most tank destroyers
-P-242 has shown to be incredible in off-road scenarios
-To prevent the possibility of premature damage to the only existent prototype, P-242's cannon is (allegedly) much weaker than the one that will be incorporated on official versions of it.
-Provided that it is not destroyed in testing, P-242 will become one of several exhibits in the new MGLA museum located on Krakabloa, location still pending.

That's all...

...for now. Stay tuned, and be prepared, brothers.

Here's one of three weapons releasing tomorrow. Sort of. I made a finalized, albeit not much more upgraded version of this which is (for some reason) three times more fragile albeit 5 times deadlier.

@CrestelAeronautics that's good, what if we carried multiple of these at once?

@CrestelAeronautics That is true, but more than likely we'll need your heavy bombers to actually deliver explosive payload as opposed to the tank... what if you made one that had two bomb bays though? One for the bombs and one for the P-242.

@TheMouse Graingy and Majakalona have spoken of an upcoming war (apparently they put you and Monarchii in a microwave, they tried to take me out but I'm fireproof and escaped), but P-242's final version will capable of fighting in the Siren War and Crestel Conflict as well.

Looks really good. Which war was this planed for?

@Speedhunter tell no one, but I'm going to make a deadly duo that allows the B-17 Fighter Jet to carry this, allowing for high-speed precision airdrops. As stupid as it sounds, I'm not joking, aside from the B-984 which really should be but somehow isn't obsolete at this point, I have no aircraft that would be logically capable of airdropping the P-242, so the Fighter Jet B-17 will actually serve a purpose.
