Act. 1 - Fold wings
Act. 2 - Lower arrestor hook
Act. 3 - Open bomb bay
Act. 4 - Deploy airbrakes
Act. 5 - Turn on nav lights
Act. 8 - Disable nosewheel steering for takeoff and landing
VTOL - Flaps

The Tupolev Project 509 was a development of the Tu-14 torpedo bomber for a carrierborne version. This version was to be designated Tu-91 (lost out to the single NK-12 powered design), and would have been one of the first carrierborne medium bombers in service. I made this using numerous new construction techniques, which I like to call triple-paneling. Though not part-efficient, it is nearly flush with the fuselage and allows for support ribs to be placed along the bomb bay. It is perfectly to scale and about 85% accurate to the blueprints with minor inconsistencies with the tail and trailing edges of the wings. It held one torpedo in the central bomb bay (or two smaller bombs), and two under the wings between the engines and the fuselage.

Looks beautiful, flies great, and OK gimmicks. Is the bomb bay for show only? Could use some countermeasures though.

@asteroidbook345 Sorry about that, I just thought they looked similar, yet again, I can't fly the two in comparison rn because it's late over here in Australia so yeah...

Idk why but I feel this is super similar to my Tupolev Tu-26... Did you base the design off it? I know you didn't copy or anything, I just have a teeny feeling.

Hmm, good point. Does a code like Fire"insert weapon name" exist? @asteroidbook345

I know that, I just didn't know if there was a way to make a rotator move when that weapon is being fired. Say for a trigger mechanism in the cockpit? @asteroidbook345

What if the weapon has a specific name? Say "50 cal." @asteroidbook345

Oh, I don't know Russian planes that well. I know you're really good at funky trees, so if you don't mind me asking, do you know if there is a way to activate a rotator when a weapon is fired? @asteroidbook345
