Fairey Barracuda MKII

60.7k Sergio666  1.6 years ago

Hello comrades, today I have decided to publish my Fairey Barracuda MK II, with some variables. The history of this plane seemed interesting to me, since it participated in the attacks of the battleship Tirpitz.
About this construction
First of all, I want to give credit to a great player, @GuyFolks, for analyzing and understanding his flame visual systems.
I also thank @CooPeach , @Planeflight and @AnOmalOcaris for helping me with the ignition system and its variables.
and also to @AWESOMENESS360 for the design of the bombs.

Important

It is the first ignition system that I design where I write so many variables, besides I also include a throttle percentage, to complete the process.

       -TO START THE ENGINE-

Since it's my first job with so many variables, I made a bit long startup sequence.
You will have to press the buttons in this order:
Battery, fuel pump, cylinder valve, oil. Then push the fuel switch. Next buttons cylinder valve, magnets, move the throttle 5% or more, starter button and then ignition.
Never turn the engine down to less than 5% throttle, as the engine will shut down mid-flight.
When applying the variables, the flames change color according to the acceleration level, from 85% acceleration they will be complete.
The plane is not completely realistic, because I built it with a fairly good and balanced maneuver, and it does not usually lose control in high altitude climbs in flight or aggressive dives.
I hope you like it, comrades,
