<J85-GE>
"MAKING THE FREEDOM FLY"
History
Originally was designed for the McDonnell ADM-20 Quail, a big decoy missile deployed by an B-52 Stratofortress, baiting ground-to-air missiles like the SA-2 and other anti aire soviet defenses while it maintain flight with the B-52, paired with electronic and physical defenses in its structure.
Later, the engineers in Northrop taked advantage in the small size of the J85 and its great power-weight relation and adapted it for its use in a afterburner can and made the version used in the PD-2879D, later known as F-5, which flew on July 30, 1959
Characteristics
<All of this is taked directly from Wikipedia, so take it carefully>
The J85 it's a single-shaft afterburner turbojet engine, weighing like a car engine, but having enough power packed in almost 3 meter long and half of a meter in diameter to lift an F-5, having a 2 turbine stages and a 9 compressor stages, achieving 16 kilonewtons in dry thrust configuration, increasing it to 22 kN in afterburner
Internal Characteristics
This list varies in configuration so make sure to read it carefully to ensure that these are suitable for your aircraft

Why an engine?
I know, it's not my usual type of construction in this game, but, i'm checking and trying new things for my airplanes (the next one is a 2k+ one so it's gonna be complex), so, this is like a test bed, i did this in like 2 days so, it's really simple but important to improve in the engines performance and aspect on My future designs (not the next 2 ones)
How to install this thing
1.Grab this part and save it as an subassembly
2.Paste it into your design
3.Copy and paste all the code in the Funky trees window
4.Align and adjust as required by the aircraft you are installing the engine on, make sure that Its enough hollow space for the afterburner tunnel (if you want to see the inlet you have to model it by yourself)
5.If You did everything right, the engine will be working with normality, just make sure to put enough inlets in your aircraft, it requires at least 3 of this inlets per engine for proper functioning (Actually included in the model)
Other versions
NO AFTERBURNER VERSION
NO STARTUP CODE (AFT)
NO STARTUP AND NO AFTERBURNER
