Entry to a paratrooper challenge!

AG 2 - parachutes. Wait til the troops are out.
AG 7 - activate helped gyro and VTOL turret control
AG 8 - turns off flap and pitch control
VTOL/trim - turret horizontal/vertical control

HISTORY
During the Second World War, Zaten Tech was contracted by the RAF to design a troop transport aircraft that could sustain heavy fire and remain in one piece. Thus came the Turtle.

The Turtle is heavily armored and is more heavy than an unarmored transport, of course. It is slow, but fairly maneuverable, and can take quite a bit of damage before going down. One good flak hit will destroy it, however. It is designed to carry 6-8 fully equipped troopers (paratroopers or no) or 8-10 passengers. It has a gun turret fitted with two light .303 MGs, operated by the copilot remotely.

DESIGN

Originally, Zaten Tech wanted to try a tricycle landing gear configuration with a pusher style engine config and a third engine mounted in the nose. However, as problems arose with getting the test dummies out of the plane without being knocked out by the wings or shredded by the props, the design shifted to a more conventional style.

I hope you all like this, and I hope it does well on the challenge. Took me nearly a full day of work, and I'm really, really satisfied with it. Best thing I've made so far, for sure.

It has a good overall performance, although it was easily shot down by a flak hit, the paratroopers remained safe, only one died in the Crash Test (poor guy), but good job on this one, I have a hope that this'll pop up on a high place in the final rankings.
