After many days of silence, Banana Aerospace Industries makes its public appearance once again! This time, their new project is a light propeller-driven attack aircraft for counter-insurgency missions and engagements against other types of poorly equipped opponents — the UA-5 “Bananajackal”.

BACKSTORY:
When BAI’s very first helicopter, the AH-4 “Banana Hawk”, was unveiled to the world, every single member of every department rejoiced — they had actually pulled it off! On top of that, sales went surprisingly well, which only further fueled the already thick fog of an idea: to throw yet another all-out drinking party.
Everything seemed ready, nothing foreshadowed trouble. And then suddenly — the horrifying truth came to light: the alcohol reserves were gone (now that’s a real crisis!). Naturally, all party plans collapsed instantly: how can you drink without any booze? An investigation into the disappearance of the “liquid gold” was launched immediately, during which it was discovered that a bunch of ragtag nobodies unhappy with BAI’s existence had staged a raid (though calling it that is a bit generous, heh) on the company’s warehouses. This happened while the Logistics Corps were away on yet another trip, and the guards, along with the rest of the staff, were lying in a completely incapacitated state after the pre–“Banana Hawk” launch drinking session.
Once the case was solved, the higher-ups at Banana Aerospace Industries started thinking about how to punish these wannabe guerrillas without spending too many resources or risking expensive hardware. After a while of debates and arguments, the decision was made: to create the cheapest possible aircraft that was still armed to the teeth and tough enough to deal effectively with such opponents, while remaining inexpensive to buy and maintain.
And thus, the Bananajackal project was born.

SPECIFICATIONS:
In short — nothing revolutionary here: it’s just a simple twin-engine counter-insurgency aircraft.
It’s powered by two piston multi-fuel engines, each producing 1,000 horsepower when running on banana-based fuel.
The design is as simple and repair-friendly as possible. The H-shaped tail wasn’t chosen by accident: this layout allows the aircraft to retain stability even if one vertical stabilizer is lost, increasing the chances of making it back to base where everything can be repaired.
The armament on this variant consists of:
Two 20 mm cannons under the fuselage, for hitting vehicles and personnel in light fortifications and buildings, with a total of 400 rounds of ammunition.
Four Mk.81 bombs, for destroying concentrations of troops, vehicles, or more serious fortifications.
Four rocket pods, each with seven unguided rockets, for suppressing area targets.
Six Inferno missiles, for when you need to take out watercraft, heavy armor, or fortifications with maximum precision.
