Hey everyone! Just a quick fun build. I wanted to make a plane that could jump into the water and fly out, so I created the pelican, named after the bird that swoops down and grabs fish. It flies SUPER WELL and glides very nicely. Its also quite aerobatic due to its low drag and thin profile. I named it a marine observation drone because it would be cool to have a drone that could swoops down into the water and collect information sbout the ocean! Enjjoy and pleasse upvote! less

Oh ok. That makes sense. The takeoff distance was slightly average, but that's alright. @TTHHSSSS
So, your plane was super awesome, however, I judged it using a 1-10 scale on how it did in 4 different areas: Take-off distance, aesthetics, Low-speed performance, and it's landing. Here was the scoring for yours:
aethsetics: 10
take-off distance: 7
slow speed performance: 9
landing: 9
Total: 35
I had some that took off on Yeager airport before the first arrow finished. Yours took off at the beginning of the second arrow. That's where you lost the most points. The flight characteristics were awesome though. First place got 37 points and second got 36. You still did really well! I saved your plane cause I like it a lot! It was a surprisingly hard competition to judge..
