History

The ATK 12 is a piston engine contra-rotating attacker that has been in service for over 80 years to date! However, it has of course been heavily modified for 21st century warfare. Adding countermeasures, a refueling probe, an ejection seat, a radar, and many more features that make it an ever present threat. Developed by Storm industries, the first model entered service in 1943, when it was used as a carrier-based dive bomber and attacker. It had a good service record, and in 1956 it was decided to keep the aircraft in service, and had it modernized with new weapons technology, like missiles and flares. Over the years, it’s gotten 12 significant modifications, hence the name ATK-12.

The Teal Terrors

Formed in 1992, attack squadron 302, nicknamed the “Teal Terrors” (Because their planes were painted teal), Was the 1st squadron of pilots to fly the ATK-10, and Helped destroy over 1000 tanks and armoured vehicles during multiple conflicts. Using their 20mm antitank cannons mounted on each wing and 4 hardpoints for bombs and missiles, they strafed enemy troops, bombed tanks, and even destroyed the Traevent battleships Isuro and Yurru! Each time they received a new upgraded plane, they would still paint it teal, and they continue to terrorize Nisuk separatists to this day!
