The first purpose-designed heavy bomber of the Paternian Air Force, it replaced converted Provider transport aircraft as a heavy bomber. The Ardent heavy bomber, equipped with additional defensive weapons and an internal bomb bay, was the backbone of the PAF Combined Air Offensive during the Second Olympian War and the initial stages of the Third Olympian War. During the former war, it was a devastating force which levelled Olympian cities in their mass formations, and proved a very difficult target to destroy. However, during the Third War, they were cut down by missile and cannon-armed supersonic fighter aircraft the Olympians now fielded. Nighttime fire raids commenced, but were eventually replaced entirely by the Dominator B-3A. The aircraft, with no commercial value, were largely cut for scrap, with the exception of a few museum pieces and unrecovered wrecks.

@Pilotmario good idea, like if mid-flight you could set them to agressive (attacks everything within a 4km radius), passive (doesn't attack anything) or defensive (attacks designated planes (you can choose which plane is designated by tapping the AI plane) within a 2km radius)
And you could also choose what type of gun (HMG, Cannon, Minigun), and even how many barrels (1-6) (Not available for Minigun)
@HarperAstrionics There are virtually none in service or reserve. The only examples in service are the TB-2A, which there are only two. The first one is basically non-flyable, and is used to train firefighters on how to extinguish large aircraft. The second is flyable, using parts from the first example, and only used for testing radar.
There are about 19 examples in museums, all of which I do not think will give it to you.
We could instead offer 96 A-1D Pummelers. They're actually available, there's parts available, and there's plenty of veteran pilots for hire. If you can't hire them, then you can get any pilot to fly them.
@TemDesBur All 12.7mm M12 guns. Unfortunately here, they are purely decorative. Perhaps @AndrewGarrison could make automated defensive guns.
