Introduction:

The Boeing AH-64D Apache Longbow is a 4 rotor blade attack helicopter and is the most american helicopter you can get. The Apache is trusted by many countries. The Delta variant can be distinguishable with it's "bulge" on top of the rotor. This bulge, also known as the AN/APG-78 Longbow (hence the name) acts as a fire control system for the helicopter. The wider used variant, AH-64E can also use this system.

History:

Following the cancellation of the AH-56 Cheyenne in favor of the planes like the USAF A-10 Thunderbolt or the USMC AV-8 Harrier, the US Army still wanted something like the AH-1 HueyCobra, but obviously far superior. As such, the US Army issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) for the Advanced Attack Helicopter (AAH) program.

A total of 6 parties proposed to this. Although, only two would be selected, which was Bell and Hughes. Both companies would start making their prototypes. Bell was building the YAH-63A, while Hughes was building the YAH-64A. The US Army chose Hughes' design because of its more damage tolerant 4 rotor blades and the instability of the Trycicle Landing Gear configuration in Bell's design.

The design were then put to test, which were successful. The AH-64 entered full scale production in 1982. Hughes was soon to be bought by McDonnell Douglas, which merged with Boeing sometime later.

Loadout:

• 1x M230 30mm Chain Gun
  A 30mm chain gun capable of firing more than 600 RPM. Has a total of 1200 rounds.

• 8x AGM-114R Hellfire II (Hellfire Romeo)
  The latest iteration of the Hellfire missile, a fire and forget laser guided missile, intended for all ground targets.

• 2x LAU-130/A
  A rocket pod which carries a total of 19x Hydra 70 rockets.

Pitch and Roll: Basic Controls
VTOL: Rotor Collective
Throttle: Activate Rotor
AG8: Disable Gyroscopes (Highly unrecommended.)

Features:

• A changing angle pylon. I don't know how to describe it in fancy words. It's controlled by the CPG's pitch down perspective.
• Mmm, G y r o s c o p e s .
• Camera controlled M230, controlled by the CPG. With a max angle of 40° pitch down and 10° pitch up. As well as a full 180° yaw movement. But, let's be honest. Who uses more than 135° of yaw movement in their cameras?
• An auto stabilizing target tracking camera. Thank you to 11qazxc for helping me with the codes.

BUILDER'S NOTE
The tail rotor's stabilizing mode is set to Head Hold, as such, rolling could result in awkward positions.
