Interesting/Fun facts:
- The name "norhropi" was in honor of John Knudsen Northrop, the founder of Northrop Corporation
- It coexisted with a varied amount of animals, highlighting it's coexistence more with Tyrannosaurus rex
- At first it was believed that Quetzalcoatlus was a scavenger, due to one of its remains was found with Alamosaurus. But later, an exam published by Mark Witton and Darren Naish, it is now believed that Azhdarchids were land stalkers, similar to modern storks, and probably hunting small vertebrates on land or small streams.
- In late 2021, an article about Quetzalcoatlus possible lifestyle, proposes that Quetzalcoatlus was like the herons of today, hunting fish, crabs, worms and clams at the bottom of rivers and lake beds.
- Quetzalcoatlus was capable to reach 130 km/h (80 mph), but Quetzalcoatlus along with the rest of Azhdarchids with similar sizes, were short-range flying animals, living on land most of the time. So, it is possible that this animal may have spent most of its life on land rather than in the air.
