Yes but the tail on the side killed side visibility which is more crucial
a tail behind the cockpit would kill rearward visibility
I know it just looks weird and they could have done a single tail behind the cockpit to enhance visibility and the wings could have housed engines
Doesn’t really look like that this is designed by a drunk person, but a very complicated engineer, or airplane type archetect
uhm you know that the design of the bv 141 was more goofy than the effect it had on the whole job of being a scout plane? it had the benefit of added vision for the recon guys.
