F/CAS-12...

Successor to the Thunderscreech...?

Meet an F/CAS-12, Fighter/Close Air Support craft. Yes, it uses coaxial propellers, not a jet on this airframe (use it on the WWII Destroyer challenge if you don't believe me). Regardless, this F/CAS-12 can pack and take a punch with speed and agility. It is essentially a perfected XF-84...

Lore:

F/CAS-12 was developed in the late 1950s by TUPL. Albeit not specifically built to resemble the Thunderscreech, its speed, design, and of course volume fascinated TUPL. The F/CAS-12 was built, and after 4 years of trial and error, the F/CAS officially was introduced and produced in 1963.

It saw little combat in early years, and really only existed as a means of intimidating the enemy before they needed to use them. F/CAS-12s did fight in the Baguette War of '72-83, however. Later on, the F/CAS-12 would surprisingly see combat in the Monarchii War. It was a pretty unspoken hero because it never really did anything useful other than harassing the daylight out of IS-3s.

@Majakalona Not precisely, the F/CAS-12's engine is behind the cockpit, sort of P-39 style.

@TheUltimatePlaneLover if you use steam I can see the images on my 3DS
Also the cockpit is a bit too close to the engine, you think there's enough space for then engine and the pilots feet?

I might use steam in the future, but for the next three planes (PEA Me 262 2.0, PEA F-16 2.0, and 'Muricaplane) that won't be an option.
