@GrandPrix svg is different from stuff like jpg or png though in the fact that it is a vector graphic. it would need to be either rasterized before being applied as a texture, or use a different system for mapping it onto a surface altogether
It will be great if the player can import bitmap/JPG/PNG file as a texture (as other 3D programs like 3D-Max/Blender/Maya. There could be a file size and pixel dimension limit to maintain the game performance.
so I guess the question is valid, asking if those 3d programs have a function for automatically rasterizing svgs that you send them

@WinsWings thats not how it works. Theoretically all static image formats can be mapped onto a 3d model.
