We walked through the ship, looking for Captain Essen. We sifted through the bodies of dead Chaos troops and Galactic Marines. We found Sergeant Blackburn had been caught in the initial blast and the ceiling collapsed on top of him, Lieutenant Frost was trapped in his office when the roof came down. The prisoners were gone, we had expected that, but Essen was not in the interrogation room. His helmet was found three rooms down next to where the insurgents came in. It was like the standard helmet design, inspired by Star Wars clone trooper helmets, but with grey stripes over the standard Golden Military yellow. The visor had been struck by a bullet, and has a massive crack running down it.

The Deutschland’s damage report stated that the ship had a severe hull breach, the coms are gone, the flight deck and the interior launch bay have been blown up, and the weapon control room is buried under ten feet of rubble. Casualty reports state that we have about 236 KIA, 13 MIA, another 167 injured, and above all else Captain Essen has been taken by the Brotherhood of Chaos. His second in command is now in charge, which is not the worst thing, but he lacks experience. I just hope his inexperience doesn’t get us killed.

Yeah, it's just the Deutschland being from another dimension and in her full functional form, is capable of space travel, but that system is destroyed and can't be repaired with the current resources available. So right now the Deutschland is just an oversized aircraft carrier with a main railgun battery and covered in point defense.

Launching 120 Nemesis scout attack drones to search. We will send back our Carrier Strike Group to search as well. Our marines will also help search the island.

Armed with the latest laser technology, this beastie can down a drone before it takes off.
@CaptainEssen lol, and all forms of exit were canceled. (ships, aircraft, etc.) and a bio- scan is done every day. the bio-scan should find him.
Side note: The coms operator is assigned to janitorial duties for the next three months.

Captain Essen was taken during the initial attack along with the prisoners (he was unfortunate enough to be in the same area as the prisoners). The Deutschland and her crew is currently unable to search for Essen so you must find him before something bad happens.
@CaptainEssen all costal defense/AA defense are still online.
The island was/ and has been on lockdown since the initial attack, nothing has entered or left the island.
