A must read: Where are the stealth combat drones?

This seems as big a game-changer as nuclear weapons. A very convincing argument is made here.

It would seem that something is very wrong in the U.S. government.

One of the major points of the article is what keeping this a secret does to the air force and navy priorities and budgets. It's a little like in the 80s when the B-2 and F-117 programs were secret, so the Congress went ahead with the B-1, except this is way worse. All the aircraft carriers and all the F-35s are potentially obsolete, yet we've been spending hundreds of billions of dollars on them because Congress doesn't know any better.

They're stealthy. You're not meant to be able to see them everywhere ;)

    I know that we (the U.S. military and NASA) have the MQ-1, MQ-9, MQ-4, RQ-4, X-45As, the X-47A, B, C, and now the XQ-58.

Let's not get political here, this is just about UCAVs. Leave your personal views of the world somewhere else, please.

@IStoleYourMeme BAE is too. But the key to these is a swarm. We're uniquely suited to deploy swarms of these.
