"We are getting unconfirmed reports that Lockheed F-104 Starfighter aircraft have been spotted flying from NovrdLisch Aerodrome, owned by SMC Industries. Accounts say the Starfighters were flying at night at high speed and altitude for a duration of 230 minutes. The purpose of these flights are as yet unknown, and we shall continue to follow this story closely as it develops."

SMC Aerospace has updated and upgraded the Starfighter's for the 21st Century. We've gifted it with a top speed of 2200 mph at 20,000 feet, quick-lock, 270-lock air-to-air missiles and a range to rival the B-2 bomber. It is also fitted with powerful new cannon.

Prices are $1.6 million per unit or $9 million for 10 aircraft and the aircraft is available to all RP nations.

    @TheFantasticTyphoon hmmm okay, i won't judge
But don't call out for other people if your company gets bankrupt because of that pricing

    1. The aircraft can only reach those speeds at very high altitude and only for very short periods of time.

    2. A few fighter aircraft already have 270° lock-on capability. With a few sensors at the tail with sensor fusion I believe 360° lock-on capability could be reached.

    3. The engine fitted is obviously different from the original.

    4. We have a manufacturing plant that gives us the ability to build many, many aircraft in a short space of time. This keeps the price down of individual units.

    5. Is innovation forbidden in this RP? I think not.

I seen many biased flaws in this post:
    1. Speed is biased (6300 mph can outspeef literally any missile and possibly bullet in existence, but also shred the airframe to pieces before even reaching the top speed)
    .
    2. Instant lock 360° missiles are very OP considering this RP is based in 2019 period in which such missiles doesn't exist.
    .
    3. A normal Starfighter's engine is very inefficient, which is why i have come to the third reason. No starfighter is known to match the range of a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. At least without air refueling, and that's the standard engine Lockheed gave them. Imagine going to 6300 mph. Fuel will drain like spilling a water bottle at that rate. Please, be realistic.

    And last one, 4.
No known military aircraft after 1950-60s costs below $2.000.000 , that price is just unrealistic.
    .
    .
That's all i have for today, Deidara out.

@Bman01 Technically the island is owned by the Conegsreich Republic and leased by my company. They let us do as we please really, since we defended them from invasion.

Private island? That’s like making homemade guns on private property, laws still apply

May I ask what you're doing with these suspicious night flights?

@Jim1the1Squid We are not owned by your country, you can't control our testing or who we sell to. We are just one of your primary suppliers.

My point still stands. Every company under Warburg must ask permission before performing tests.

@Jim1the1Squid It's our own private island.
We also check in with ATC before every flight, we just don't tell them what aircraft we're flying.

May I ask why your company is performing unauthorized night flights?
Forgive me if I didn't say it before, but every company must request permission before performing tests.
