Official Thunder Dome Guide

A Thunder Dome is open to anyone who wants to host one, this post is a video and guidelines to hosting a fair competition.

Golden Rule: A Thunder Dome is strictly for fun, it is a way for builders to admire everyone's works, share building techniques, and troubleshoot issues. The competition is based on ability of the plane, and not the details. The only conflict allowed is in the one on one airspace, KEEP IT CLEAN.
-In some cases aircraft can be awarded a best of show for utilizing the build limits to its fullest which is detail oriented however if shouldn't be the focus.

Build:
- Players will build a plane within a certain time frame. (Days, a week, a month ect.)
- The host of the competition is to determine the build restrictions. ( example: 300 parts, Jet engines, XML allowed)

Competition:
- Both planes will be spawned in under AI control, two matches will be fought, if each plane wins a round, then a third round will be flown from the perspective of the loser of the last round.
- Planes should be selected randomly for a match, winners of each match, and will move to the next round. If there is an odd number, then whoever isn't matched up will move to the next round by default.

Conditions of a Win
- One plane is no longer able to fight, due to damage sustained, loss of control, or is completely incapacitated.
- It is highly recommended that a TD is broadcasted, YouTube is a great example. That way the community can judge the fight. The community can call for a vote on a match if a winner cannot be determined.

Conditions of a null match
- If a plane spawns into a mountain that match is no good, and can be re-done.

This guide is open to revision and is to serve the community in the future a reference of suggestion
