I get asked a lot about my camo schemes so here is a bit of a walkthrough, im on PC and use overload so its easier for me than for tablet or phone users but its still possible on all.
(plane used for this bit: English-Electric-Victorious-5-0
Step 1
So, to start with have a general idea of what you want in the way of camo, is it going to walk across the build? Curl around? be sharp edged like some German WW2 schemes etc.
Step 2
Build your plane to suit, so use a few more blocks, that leading edge that you made out of 1 piece make out of 3
Step 3
Colour the plane in one colour (use a nice contrast colour, not dark or too bright like white, i use orange and pink for the contrast because it works)
Step 4###
Add a different colour to some panels to form your rough outline of camo, sometimes its made more obvious by the plane shape or position of certain panels.
Step 5
Now the fun bit, create a series of panels all linked to each other to form a camo smooth shape (0 weight and drag or else autoroll.... thanks ChiChiWerx for the reminder), in this case the panel im laying it on was 7.5 long so i used 5 panels of 1.5 long. Make sure they have a straight edge for where it will match your panel on the plane
Step 6
Now add that panel to the plane and nudge and twist to suit the panel its overlaying (multiselect is handy here), ive coloured the added panels in differently to normal to highlight their position.
Step 7###
Rinse and repeat 6 until you are happy you have the camo you want.
Step 8###
Try a couple of different main colours
I hope this helps, I know this is a very abbreviated post for what is a time consuming but worthwhile technique.
Feel free to ask me about any part of this mini-tutorial.

Another Method
Alternatively you can design the panels to join together seamlessly as part of the build rather than overlay but this is complicated and with its own problems. It works well though on german ww2 aircraft

For BETA, I just try to use vertical fill to cut out pieces and add others in different colours.
@RamboJutter but i didn't make my planes out of lots of panels like you, for example my planes wing is 1 part!
@FireFast212 I don't really have much time at present to do much. You have this tutorial, why don't you give it a go?
could you do a camo scheme for one of my airplanes?
@OzpinTheHeadmaster no problem, have fun.
Thank you
K@RamboJutter
@Diloph yep, when u right click an image on DISCORD you get the option to copy the link.
So if I want an image, I put one on discord, copy that, do exclamation mark and the these like this? ![Just what I wanna name it](the copied image here) @RamboJutter
@Diloph just ![useless description or something here](LINK TO DISCORD IMAGE HERE)
All of the pics in desc@RamboJutter
@Diloph which pic?
One question, I know how to do links btw, if that helps you in some weird way, how do you get the pic?
Pretty cool! It looks super hard though, I will try thanks
@asteroidbook345 it all depends on the plane, the big bomber I used as an example here only took another 30-40 mins because I knew I wanted camo therefore I designed the plane in a way that made the camo easier to apply.
@belugasub have fun, if you need any advice just let me know.
Imma attempt this
commenting so i can see it again
@RamboJutter yeah I did that, just before you commented actually.
@BlackhattAircraft you can probably bookmark it in your browser ;)
Still wish I could favorite forums just for this
Pretty Helpful, Thanks!
This is mindblowing
.
How come i didn't notice this earlier
