Another landing gear problem

There is no drag difference if they’re up or down

@Spacedoge12345plane but sp drag isn't the most realistic thing so it wouldn't really matter if you just disabeled the drag on the lg

But realism doh. Look at why space shuttles drop there gear last minute. Because they are flying bricks that become more brick like when they drop the gear.@Minecraftpoweer

Depends if the gear is custom and set on rotators (no difference in drag), or the stock retractable gear, in which there may be a difference...though I’m not entirely sure since I don’t use the stock landing gear! In any event, the issue is an SP issue and has absolutely no correlation to real life.

With landing gear it depends on their aspect to the wind (think or wide) as well as if they are shielded by something else (like the fuselage). I've had some designs where the gear produced more drag when up.

What you need is someplace out of the way for the gear to fold up into.

I can prove this wrong I have a prop plane that does 238mph but only 212mph when the gear is down in sort the drag isn’t much different and if your jet/plane can go 1000+ mph you’re not going to notice anything different
