Space submarines...?

23.0k ColonelStriker  5.7 years ago

We got warships in space which are just over glorified rockets with weapons... but how about space submarines?

Submarines operate under water. Warships operate over water.

But you could move a space warship in the X, Y, and Z axis. Which submarines could do underwater.

So.. space warships = submarines?

Or do space submarines travel in an altered space fabric?

They are always cloaked, that’s why you can’t see them.

    Submarine
    Sub: below
    Marine: water
Space submarine: below water and in space
Water instantly evaporates and disperses in space so therefore this is impossible

If you are talking about parallel realities and a fantasy similar to them, then in the game there is only one reality - a vector of X-Y-Z spawning and strictly limited water surface.

    What is it like?
I do not understand anything in this matter...
Where can you dive into space if there is everywhere a uniform vacuum with an admixture of radiation of all sorts?

Of course, I understand everything, but I do not understand THIS.

I always imagined that the space alternative of being "submerged" would be being in warp, that would basically allow you to go "under" any obstacles by curving the spacetime containing said obstacles around you

Yeah.. a space ship includes a space submarine since it's taken the full and only purpose of the submarine.. to dive up down for stealth and etc
