PC/laptop help!

I’m looking for a good laptop I can play SimplePlanes on with very little lag and can handle up to 1200+ parts, but is cheap and not-futuristic looking enough it’ll pass off as a school laptop. Want a mix between my HP stream (turd, don’t get it) and my friends Alienware (complete overkill. Looked like a transformer in 5th grade. No chrome books. Yeah, I know it’s off topic, but I’m looking for something good to mod and play on.

Mine didn’t. Barely got past 300. The 25 GB of storage didn’t work with me. @DerekSP

My dude... Judging from the specs the HP stream should be able to handle 1.2K
It has a 2.16GHz Celeron and 4GB RAM.
My HP630 laptop has a 1.5GHz Celeron and can struggle through 1000 parts with low settings and enabled shadows.
If you really want to go the cheapo way, I suggest you upgrading to 8GB of RAM (ca. 18$) and ditching Windows in favor of Linux Mint (or dual-booting). You'd be surprised how much can Linux improve the performance of old laptops.

if you want something cheap that is a beast it wont be cheap. BUT this is a but if you are good with laptops you can buy a used one for a good price but you will need to check that Everything is fine so that you dont get scammed. The ideal thing is to build a pc because pc's are the most powerful in general (i dont have any room for a pc) I play on an msi ge70 2oe it doesn't look completely over the top but it is a very nice laptop i you can buy one of those used for $1050 on amazon but i managed to get mine for $235 with a $40 mouse for free. So you can also find a nice deal.
