So I really want to have a car engine that only starts putting power down once I'm at 50% power or higher, or I want it to come on slowly but have a high max power (ie. Has 400hp but comes on gradually). Is there a command like powerDelay or something? I tried putting that in under the Engine tab and the Input tab and nothing worked.

@DemonSniper8 it will accelerate slower but it will still reach top speed. You do it in input

@Minecraftpoweer trying to figure out how to make power come on with a delay like a turbo. What to I set for 0.25?

just make the input something like 0.25 and it will accelerate 75%slower. Anyway why do you need it to start at 50%? if you explain i can try to come up with something but i might not be able to.

Try doing two engines. 1 with low HP with input set up to .5. And a second engine with High HP and input set above .5. Try that.

@Kerbango yeah I'm doing that, but if I set Input to 0.5 power still comes on at >0. I need power to come on AFTER 0.5 and turn off under 0.5, otherwise it won't do what I need it to.

Use pitch as your throttle input. This also allows you to go in reverse.
But you can also change the engine input number from 1 to 1.5 or even 2.
