Background

After news was released by Paternia to the Federation population about the atrocities covered up by the military. A short civil war broke out. Those loyal to the queen believing that these happened due to the Military taking over many jobs the Queen had, and those loyal to the Military believing it was the nessecary action to take.

Western Front

Frontlines

Forces from Phanpia and Ukraine push into Federation territory. Forces had unexpectedly came across unmarked minefields with ATGM "pop up turrets" nick named "Death Flowers." After taking heavy casualties from seemingly unknown forces which were first suspected to be infantry firing shoulder mounted ATGMs, the advance was slowed. Artillery and Missile batteries quickly seized this opportunity to destroy the enemy while they were slowed down. The utilization of our air forces had little effect due to mobile AA batteries Paternia had deployed. Artillery rained down from SPGs, Missile batteries, and railguns within range of the area. An unknown amount of losses were taken by the Paternian force, but is expected to be high. Federation armored units and CAF battalions were kept behind while long range strikes were employed. Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles were launched to destroy the retreating enemy forces.

The Revolutionary Guard

A small group of units were caught attempting to disable the railgun batteries with explosive charges. P.A Units quickly surrounded them and forced them to surrender. At most, 2 batteries were temporarily put out of action from Revolutionary Guard forces.

Eastern Front

Sea of Okhotsk

Attempted commando landings were made on the Federation naval defensive line comprised of sea forts by Paternia. After failing to get correct confirmation for landings, many of the units turned around while the forces that attempted to get past the patrol cruisers were either torn apart by CIWS guns or airburst rounds. The very few that made it on the white concrete beaches were quickly gunned down by defensive bunkers and mortar strikes. Recoilless rifle round disabled a pillbox killing all three units manning the station.

Naval forces from Japan formed an armada to bust through the defensive line. Federation naval forts open fired on airforce units with railguns and missile batteries. Paternian airforces quickly turned back to the fleet for AA support after the Federation Airforce assisted by the AA fire from the forts pursued them.

The Paternian Navy was soon able to breech the line after taking moderate to high losses. After 9 days of fighting, Paternian forces were able to cripple the defensive forces enough to let mine sweepers through. Seeker mines were employed at many mine sweepers were sunk by Supercavitating torpedoes. Coastal defenses on main land and the concentrated fleet in the Sea of Okhotsk prevented a Paternian landing on mainland. Stalemate stands currently with high command hesistant to employ ASBMs in fear of killing their own forces held hostage in the shattered remains of the Okhotsk Sea Fortress Line.
