Backstory:
3 years ago, They came. Want to know why we never went back to the moon? Because that’s where their stronghold is. They sent dignitaries and diplomats to confer with the economic and industrial powerhouses of Earth. These countries and organizations formed the new Council Of Interstellar Affairs, a top-secret organization. The new council made several deals with the Others, such as exchanges of knowledge and technology, opportunities of experimentation, and so on.

@Stellarlabs, not a backstory, per se. Explain how the country or corporation of your choice is reacting to these happenings. Maybe war breaks out with the aliens. Maybe another alien race arrives and the 2 fight. The main backstory is just to give you some framework
