Something I never noticed about it farmland till this time of the year.... it frightens me a bit. In the fall the farms are all empty and just plowed dirt. When it goes on for miles and miles but it is cloudy, barren, and dead it looks so similar to the No Mans land of WW1.
(I couldn’t get a picture but here are some of No Man’s Land)
@RailfanEthan
in new england, we have trees
@Strikefighter04 I live in Kansas so it stretches for miles
Yep. I live in southern Indiana. Them fields are just dirt in the winter.
Song fits the mood so I thought I’d say.
“I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world”
