A Tail Hook Map??
I see, from other maps, that some level of programing is in the maps. I wondered if, by some manipulation of items already in use (maybe variable traction), some form of arresting gear could be simulated for aircraft with tail hooks. To keep things simple, put it at one end of a runway on land.

making 3D models that are supposed to be moving are hard to make, and is nothing like making an island @MaximusTheMinimus

I'm pretty sure you cant make custom vehicles, I know you can add vehicles (convoy trucks, the carriers, the destroyers, etc) and even you could it would take forever to do @MaximusTheMinimus

And a lot of trees...

Something based off of the black forest. Give it something like a combo of yeager and avalanche for the airfield, and put a carrier in it 2x the size of the beast.

Real Islands, I guess? Like the Palm Island in Abu Dhabi.

You should make a map with small towns and settlements near the ocean with ports, have dirt roads throughout the map and maybe some farm land

A map with a forest and realistic mountains and a nice large airport!
