This is a new weekly post I'll be doing about strange, unique, and unheard of vehicles. Planes, trains, cars/trucks, maybe boats, and airplanes will be done. Totally not a rip off...
I present to you, on our first issue, the ZIL AL-30 firetruck - but this exact vehicle was one of the first to respond to the nuclear accident in Chernoybl, Ukraine from Kiev. I don't think a ladder truck would do much for helping out on a nuclear meltdown, but it's something. Most ZIL firetrucks were only 4x4.
Specs:
6x6 all wheel drive
150bHP engine (diesel)
10.5 meters long
Weighs 12 US tons (?)
Max Speed 80 km/h or 50mph
Ladder variation.
Any ideas for next week that is whacky or barely known? Comment something. Otherwise I'll do Brutus.
