Jundroo War RP, rules, discord, and FAQ.

6,338 KDS  7.3 years ago

Here is how the Jundroo War RP works. Including rules and how everything functions for the Discord server, and the RolePlay in general.

Rules,

-Do not spam,
-Do not harass other users,
-Please do not cuss, those there are some leniency to this rule.
-Respect the Limits, breaking them during a battle results in a disqualification immediately.
-No Not Safe For Work Content (NSFW)
-Please keep your names appropriate, this corresponds to the no NSFW rule. If your name is deemed a NO-NO then it will be forced changed and you will be warned.
-The Discord operates on a four strike system: Warning, Mute, Kick, IP Ban. You will be warned, then muted from the server for a day or so, then you will be kicked and/or banned.
-Please use the appropriate channels.
-A Island can attack only other Islands, they cannot directly attack the factions under them, though they can defend themselves as necessary and assist allies in any assault.
-Anyone can attack a Island faction, though it's a bad idea if your not a island yourself.

How the RolePlay Works,

Joining a Faction

When you join for a faction, you become a commander. Commanders operate their own army that has goes to the limit's listed later. Commanders get their main battle orders from faction Generals (Faction Owners) who have the final say in what you command your army to do. When there are more Commanders in a faction, the larger the army. Generals also have a personal army under the same limit's as a commander. So let's say in a battle there are three Commanders for a third party faction, that would be 150,000 ground troops total for that Third Party Faction, not counting the Generals army. Commanders can do as they please but have to follow the given guidelines from the general. Let's say you wanted to coup against the faction owner, well you better recruit more Commanders to your side then the Generals or it will fail.

If you create a faction. It will always start off as a Third Party Faction. The creator of the Faction is automatically start as the General. You can loose this and be demoted as a commander if more Commanders Coup you then stay with you. Recruiting Commanders is a good idea to boost your factions power. If a Third Party Faction gets 4 Commanders (not counting the general) or capture a Major Island (or at least part of it) then they will be promoted as a major Island.

General and Commander Powers,

A general has full control over the whole army and how the faction runs. A commander is obligated to obey a General's orders should that happen. The amount of freedom as a commander is up to the general. However. Commander's get their own personal army that goes up to the limits we'll get to later.

General

The General has a final say in whatever his commanders and their army's do. They can even kick out commanders of they want. Though be warned. If you kick a Commander out of your faction, they take their army and strength with them to the new one if they choose to join another one. If a commander makes a order or a move that you do not like. You can tell them to stop. You have executive orders over a commanders portion of the army so if you have a commander that is inactive you can control his army for him until he comes back.

Commander

Commanders can do whatever they want unless it breaks the rules or goes against the General. A commanders army's strength varies to how much they build for the RP. One that builds actively and donates to the RP actively is a strong commander.

Battle,

General

You can only attack a Online party on the discord, however. If that party goes offline after the battle begins. It is still fair game through it is courteous to wait.

Preperation

Before the battle begins you will need to select what troops you want. You are allowed to select a maximum of 20 troops from your military. But you can place the same troop into the battlefield more than once, as long as it doesn't exceed the limit that your country has.

Troops have 4 attributes:
•Defence Class (DC)
•Attack Type (AT)
•Tech level (TL)
•Health Points (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE OTHER HEALTH POINTS)

•Defence class is what the unit is, for example, a plane has a air based defence class, a tank has a land based defence class, and a ship has a sea based defence class. This is important to keep in mind when selecting your units.

•Attack type is what the unit is good against it is represented by either the letter A, L, or S. For example, a land vehicle with anti air is good air based troops, therefore it has a letter A for air, or a dreadnought with cannons is good against land based troops, therefore it has the letter L for land. Basically if the attack type letter matches the defence type then it is more effective than other types.

•Tech Level is how advance the troop is and how much it cost to send into battle.
1: being ww1 era
2: being ww2 era-1950's
3: being 1960's-1990's
4: being modern day
5: being space age
Also tech level also determines how much space that troop takes up in the troop limit type.

•Health points is self explanatory, it's how much health an individual unit has. If the attack matches the defence type, it will do 50% more damage

Battlefield

This is the new battle system, please read through carefully.

Battle take place in a turn based system. At the start of every battle each side will get 50 Health Points (HP) plus 15 more HP for each commander that participates on their respective sides. Each side will also get 10 Shield Points. Finally each commander in the battle will start with 5 battle points (BP). Now let's run down how each of these work.

Health Points is the determining factor in success or failure of a battle, if your side's HP reaches 0 then you lose. If the other side's HP reaches 0 then you win. Also health points do not regenerate. It is shared amongst the entire side of the battle

Shield Points protect your side from damage that would lower your HP, the base number of barrier points is 10 and will decrease when ever a troop is lost. However they do regenerate 1 point every 3 rounds. Also a troop's tech level divided by two, rounded up, will also add to the total number of barrier points. Also shared amongst the entire side of the battle

Battle points determine what you can and can not place into the field. You gain 2 battle points at the start of each round and you can use them to place units. Tech level determines the cost of battle points so a tech level 5 troop will cost 5 battle points to place down. You can also alternatively sit a round out and gain 6 points next round, do it again for 7 points next round, 8 points next round, you get the idea. It caps off at 30. Only applies to individual commanders.

When the round starts and you want to attack, simply type in the chat which of your units will attack the enemies units.

How Factions work,

Companies

Companies can be independent arms dealers, or they can be loyal break off of a Island nation. A good loophole for Islands to indirectly attack Third Party Factions and other Companies. They may be small and no land to claim. They need a commander though in charge. Unless they are independent, they answer to the nation or third party they were created off of.

Third Party Faction's

Third party factions are generally small, new nations. They are independent unless conquered by a Island nation they threatened or another Third Party. They can promote into a full island nation by recruiting 4 strong commanders or by conquering a Major island or at least part of it.

Island Nations,

Island Nations are the strongest of the faction types. You cannot immediately start off as one but must earn it. Island nations can be demoted to Third Party Factions if they loose all their conquered land or all their commanders.

Limits,

These are the limit's of what individual Commanders and Generals may take into battle for their faction.

Limits of a Company,

45,000, 250 normal (prop) planes, 150 Jet planes, 180 tanks, 150 drones (all drones, weather they fly or drive), 3 Carriers, 7Ships, 15 small boats, 100 helicopters, 5 mechs, 150 bombers. 200 really small (personal) boats.

Limits of a Third Party Faction,

50,000 Troops, 200 normal (prop) planes, 150 Jet planes, 190 tanks, 150 drones (All drones, weather they fly or drive), 4 Carriers, 10 ships, 25 small boats, 180 helicopters, 13 mechs, 250 bombers, 255 really small (personal) boats.

Limits of a Island nation,

80,000 troops, 265 normal (prop) planes, 205 Jet planes, 220 Tanks, 205 Drones (All Drones, weather they fly or drive), 6 Carriers, 18 ships, 34 small boats, 250 helicopters, 18 Mechs, 300 bombers, 360 really small (personal) boats.

That's the basics. Sorry for it being so long but it's mostly me hitting that "Enter" key a bunch. If you have any questions, please DM me on Discord or leave a comment. All you have to do to join is to go on discord and ask the server owner to join/create a faction, or if you can't decide on which to join, then simply go into the recruitment channel and ask for a faction and let the offers begin.

Discord is a Live chat website/app that is kind of like skype but is free and allows you to make your own server for communities or to start your own community with semi-ease. I am using it to run a live chat server for a RolePlay I am doing. @Spinnes
