Tips for new users

1: try to not use the structural blocks instead try using the fuselage (you may use the blocks for getting the rough shape and the odd nudge but really they should be used a little as possible)

2: check and save your builds (if your like me and work on many projects at once the risk of losing work is high to prevent this check it and save regularly it to prevent any possible problems by checking it your making sure your creation is working nicely and by saving it often if your game crashes you can go back to that last save instead of go back much further

3: download and try planes then rip them apart for various part and to see how it's done (remember always give credit when using parts)

4: when improving or tweaking someone's build or using parts form that build give credit and just as important make sure all changes a easily notable and is a improvement to the original if not people will get angry and sometimes your builds may even be removed over it so best to stick to this advice

5: be polite no one likes a person who isn't nice so try to be nice

6 : make the fuselage slightly smaller then place the parts then make the fuselage bigger to make sure there's no or little gaps in your builds gaps can easily put people off a plane

7: don't ask for upvotes I myself don't like them but others tend to want them and usually they don't get because people think they are needy

8: comments do more then upvote so when you're trying someone's build If you like it upvote it but most importantly comment on it say what you liked or disliked so the maker can use your feedback to make it better

9: need something a part? Or something else just ask someone will help

10:make what ever you want every good build has been made from the heart what I mean is they wanted to so they did those who try without actually wanting to make a certain build may succeed but it will be obvious that as it's like playing a game in 2d everything is there but something is not quite right or missing

Yes I do my builds on my iPhone 5 it does crash a lot and I have learned the hard way that saving is important also testing because if you have messed a part up then it's not something you want to save I personally have 2 saves one checked and one unchecked the checked one is one I've tested and saved under check unchecked is when I save it then test it if it's working how I like I then save it under checked @Swiftsure @DexExMachina

@DexExMachina There is a wiki page that can help with part information. Otherwise, players are your best bet for getting help. Pretty much everyone on here is nice and willing to help.

I found this helpful. Is there like a subforum thing where new players can know about simpleplanes stuff?

If your on iOS/some mobile devices, a game like this crashes a lot so saves are important
