Submarine Parts!

Now, i know that you can make ships easily with buoyant fuselages, but there is one distinct problem: propellers can't breathe underwater, i suggest adding electric engines (propellers stay the same, powered by the current fuel system, but can be switched [by toggling the electric engine] to electric powered) and 'snorkels' that automatically close when it's underwater, allowing normal engines (and also the car engine) to operate when the top of the snorkel is above the water level, and maybe perhaps a retractable snorkel? :)
also, another mechanic about the electric engine: new fuel system: electricity, which can be (toggle able in the editor) re-charged when the snorkel that we talked about is above water, just like the U-Boat Type XXI
:)

But how will you see the sub if the camera automatically stops at sea level?

hm... yeah... but let's not put in pressure, that'll ruin ALOT of builds

There are other parts you need to consider like ballast tanks for submerging and surfacing. At the same time is pressure going to become a mechanic too? Just like how if you fly your plane high enough it becomes difficult to fly due lack of air, will diving too deep cause the ship to crack and crumple?

yeah, that too, perhaps, my vision was like the U-Boat XXI, the diesel engine automatically stops and then the electric engines kick in

Oxygen tanks too, they provide air when there are no inlets
