Addressing all the ccooper posts

Mod DeezDucks  7.9 years ago

I get it that all your hearts are in the right place but your minds are not. We get it, your all sad that hes left us but with all the posts about it you've accelerated the issue to a point at where it's doing more harm than good. Your making people feel really sad and guilty and that's really not O.K. I think the best course for this community is to accept that ccooper has left and continue on and f he decides to return great! All you can do until then is to carry on as normal. By trying to send your "regards" to ccooper which left because from as far as I'm concerned, drama you're creating more drama to fuel flames to people that dislike these sort of posts. So may I remind everyone to keep a cool and calm figure and to kindly stop?

This is exactly right but I was too shy to say this because people are so wrapped around him that they will get pissed with me

@CL4TRP the jelly posts (and i made a few myself trying to explain the issue to him) were very reasonable they were made by people who had their creations unnoticed due to a flood of quite frankly garbage

@General360 I deleted your comment, because I don't want to encourage anybody to point fingers and blame others. I agree with you, that those people were somewhat responsible, based on their toxic behavior.
    ...
However, no matter how many points these petty thugs may accrue over time, there is no respect in this community for behaving in a way that drives people away. If that doesn't vindicate it enough for you, just consider that when they do decide to move on, there will not many people who will grieve their departure, unlike the outpouring of support that is given to the more thoughtful & kind players that helped others along the way.

@joeysellers Yeah that was a mistake on my part. I didn't see the full scope of why he left.

Anyone involved in harassing or criticizing him should absolutely feel sad and guilty about it. It's an issue that should be showcased, so that others realize the harm that is done in bullying others. He is just a single user, and even if he did not have a significant presence in this community, as all players will come and go, this incident is unique, because of the reasons of his departure.
    ...
The entire community should pay attention as to not repeat history, and speak out against any & all toxic behavior directed at another player. We are all human beings with struggles and hardships. Life is hard enough as it is.
