Featuring. Sometimes craft get pinned at the top of the site's homepage, presumably because someone with the power to do it liked what they saw.
What does it actually do, though?
It leaves a marker akin to curation, so I'm wondering if it also comes with bonuses? At the same time, I've never heard so much as a mention of such hypothetical bonuses.
Is it just getting pinned for a time?
Is there a set time, or is it there until it gets removed?

@Graingy Yes, but it’s important to note that it’s not an objective measure of what’s considered ‘the best’ during that given week. Posts are picked with some bits of personal preference too.

It's simply pinned to the front of the site so that it's seen by more people. The criteria to get featured varies, and the maximum amount of time a craft would be featured is 1 week. After that, the feature automatically expires. Users over 25k points usually don't get featured though. It is generally used to boost recognition of smaller builders.
