Icewing Hitbox Is Dumb as Hell and Ruins MM2 Chases
I’m done pretending Icewing is fine.
This knife is straight up stupid.
You dodge it. Clean dodge. Clear space. No contact.
And you still die. Explain that.
Icewing Kills You Without Touching You
Let’s be real, this hitbox is a joke. You’re not getting hit by the knife, you’re getting hit by vibes.
There’s legit air between you and the blade, but MM2 goes: “Yeah nah, you’re dead.”
That’s not skill. That’s bad hit detection.Lag Turns It Into Easy Mode
Icewing + lag = free kills.
On your screen:
You outplayed them
You already moved away
On the server:
Nope, hit counted
So why even dodge? Why even try? The game already made up its mind. The Range Is Straight-Up Fake
This thing has phantom range. You die from distances that make no sense.
Other knives? You need to be close.
Icewing? Just swing in the general direction and pray. It’ll hit.
That’s not balance, that’s lazy.
Animation Lies to You
The worst part? The swing misses visually, then you die anyway.
So now the game is lying to your eyes.
Great design.MM2 Is About Movement… Except Not Here
MM2 is supposed to reward movement. Jukes. Timing. Positioning.
Icewing ignores all of that. You can play perfectly and still get deleted because the hitbox said so.
At that point, why even learn movement? This Weapon Feels Cheap
Dying is fine. Dying because you messed up is fine.
Dying because the hitbox is oversized and delayed? That’s just annoying.
Icewing doesn’t feel strong. It feels broken.Final Take
Icewing needs a hitbox fix. Badly. Make it match the model. Fix the delay. Stop rewarding fake hits.
Until then, every Icewing kill just feels undeserved.
And no, before anyone says it:
This is not a skill issue.
