THE BATTLE FOR EARTH: EPISODE 2

Cue starting OST

Watchers Theta and Gamma with Battleship Musashi Aegis conducting naval assault on a Hive Siren stronghold under construction

Over the course of 5 months, the conflict gradually intensified again. Hive Siren strongholds were built in much higher numbers all across the world, and at an alarmingly fast rate. World militaries doubled their efforts in combatting them alongside the Watchers, with the superpowers committing more resources into anti-Siren combat.

The F-02C Grey Wyvern of the TFMGAC participates in it's first official combat missions against the Hive Sirens, having completed it's development mid 20XX

International waters and airspace have become frequent and extremely violent battle zones yet again. Naval skirmishes and BVR attacks close into ferocious gunfights, with casualties once more mounting on both attackers, and defenders alike.

Though humanity had their noses bloodied far more they they would like, and are supposed to have fallen months ago, they held on.

But they know that this is far from the worst of what the Hive Sirens can do, and there are more of them to come. Very, very soon.

MRNS Leitrivnsky launches multirole missiles against a floating Hive Siren stronghold while under the protection of Watcher Alpha, who had disabled the structure's energy shielding before the submarine's missile barrage.

Flankers of the TFMGAC's 173rd Combat Wing and the Indonesian Air Force intercept Hive Siren fighters in the skies of Southeast Asia. The TFMGAC initiated total deployment protocol for all of their forces across the world.

Regardless of the imminent increase in the war's intensity, Earth continued to resist assimilation. With the help and guidance of the Watcher Sirens, the defenders had much success with retaliatory attacks and repelling inbound invasion waves, once more showing the usurpers, as they did in Snowstone months ago, that they will not go down without a proper fight.

Even so, the Watcher Sirens cannot help them forever. The might of four rogue lifeforms of destruction cannot keep at bay the force of an entire race, linked together by mind and strength.

Over the following weeks, sporadic attacks all across the world became more and more common. At times the Watcher Sisters did not return to Wright for days just to maintain high alert for any and all Hive Siren strikes, frequently making short hyperspace jumps to respond to distress summons and reinforcement calls; at worst, even evacuating entire populations from coastal settlements, away from the immediate danger of being at sea.

But once more, the Hive Siren's efforts to put pressure on the Earthlings were again thwarted by the arrival of more rebel Sirens; those who had answered the call of the Watchers to the defense of the planet they now call home.

NOW ME

A fleet of Nohatanian Ekrr Urra-class medium freighters locate Earth after following Watcher Lambda's obscure starmap coordinates. The first of many more reinforcements to arrive.

On November of 20XX, NORAD, U.S Space Force, and the TFM Space Triangle had detected multiple hyperspace jumps that stopped just outside of Earth's orbit, and warned the Watcher Sisters of possible new Hive Siren arrivals. Much to their surprise, Watcher Lambda had revealed that the unknown contacts are not hostile, but native Sirens of Planet Nohatania who had answered her calls. A few of which are veterans of the old planetary conquests the sisters formerly participated in before they instigated the Siren Rebellion.

Over 120 medium freighters had arrived at Earth's orbit, and subsequently entered the atmosphere; making historic contact with mankind and landing over the islands of the Federation.

Watcher Lambda promptly returned to the Federation's waters and welcomed the newly arrived rebels to their home. With them, they brought resources and technology that were virtually inconceivable in use for even civilized races of any quadrant, all in the purpose of preparing Earth into becoming one of the Milky Way's most heavily defended planetary fortresses.

World leaders granted the newly arrived rebel Sirens unquestioned citizenship to the planet, and assisted in getting them settled down to work alongside humanity in battling a threat they had long abandoned being part of.

The Princess makes her landing...

Not long after the Nohatanian Sirens had settled amongst mankind, another one of their kin made a sudden appearance before the isle of Krakabloa. The Sisters expected this one to arrive much later, but her presence was nonetheless all the more welcome.

Watcher Delta makes her presence known to Earth and all who are in it. The self-proclaimed "Princess" of the Siren Rebellion. Though her ego soars past the atmosphere of the the world, she nevertheless shares the same disdain for the Hive; and detests their obsession to assimilate every intelligent lifeform across the galaxy.

The war for Planet Earth grows ever hotter, and the race for control over the tide of battle runs ever faster. The Watcher Sirens gearing to turn the world into a fortress, and the Hive Sirens seeking to annihilate all resistance and identity for the sake of existential perfection.
