Part 2 of 5 Simpleplanes 2 Stock planes review Redux Part 2 of 5

20.0k StockPlanesRemastered  yesterday

Sorry, had to get this out befor the power cuts out. PNW problems. anyway this is Simpleplanes 2 stock planes review 2 0f 5.

First, by FairFireFight we have the Bumblebee Based on the Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm Bo 105. A small, nimble multirole utility helicopter. A favorite among the Rose Buffalo flying Buffalos, this thing is capable of getting in and out of sticky situations and flying aerobatics.

Dimensions:
Rotorspan: 30 ft
Length: 35.3 ft
Height: 13 ft
Weight: 1821 lb to 3008 lb

Engine:
1x 496 lb Turboshaft putting out 425 hp

Second, we have a joint venture between Mod and Pedro. Whose idea was it to strap guns and a jet engine to a hang glider... made out of metal? Does the uniwheel at least come off so Chad can zip around the airport on fo... wheel? All jokes aside the Chaddaray is a fun plane to fly and probably a very formidable opponent for any would be attacker, so long as Chad has his plot armor on. Capable of 790 mph at 10000 ft, it's also very nimble, and capable of PSM.

Dimensions:
Wingspan: ERROR
Length 17.9 ft
Height: 2.8ft
Weright: 2455lb to 3155lb

Engines:
1x 331 lb nonafterburner turbojet engine producing 19.4 kn of thrust

Weapons
1x insanely audacious pilot
2x machineguns

Trivia:
-this plane is named after the stingray
-The wingspan shows up under general data as 3 ft. This is neither physically possible nor visually correct.

Third, The Varga 2180 based Cobia by MrSilverWolf Is the our first look at something normal. an affordable, easy going single engine prop plane, you can't get into too much trouble with this one... unless your a pilot in a third world country looking to provide CAS for a cartel smuggling questionable material. bad joke, I know. But If you should feel so inclined, this plane is capable of 165 mph, and has two sticks for when things get crazy.

Dimension:
Wingspan: 29.6 ft
Length: 22.3 ft
Height: 10.0 ft
Weight: 2600 lbs

Engine:
1x 267 lb Flat 4 sending 200 horses and 602 ft-lb of torque at 2176 rpm to a 2 blade prop

Fourth, and our first stock airliner added, Not counting Juno's simpleairways from Juno, we have the Competitor by BaconAircraft. Based on the Bombordier Challenger 600 the Competitor is a twin engine business jet. It is a builder proclaimed glorified bus with wings, and yeah it flies like one. But with just 10 % flaps down it will climb at 20 degrees no problem. At altitude expect a speed of 470 mph.

Trivia:
-a less fun fact: due to its safety record, the Challenger 600 is now mainly used as a military transport.
-It has Spoilers on the parking break
-It is a 96% scale of it's inspiration.

Length: 66.3 ft
Height 21.9 ft
Weight: 25862lb to 34042lb

Engines:
2x 1587 lb Turbofans putting out 115 kn thrust.

Now let's look at another car. Fifth its the Cork, by BaconEggs. Probably THE most fun out of the bunch, the Cork is based on the Lotus Formula One cars of the 60's and has the handling to back that claim up. With a bit of practice i was running perfect laps around the race track. With a top speed of 220 mph. It now has driver assist, not that it needs it.

Dimensions:
Width: 7.5 ft
Length: 13.9 ft
Height: 4.4 ft
Weight: 1177 lbs

Engine:
1x "3.0" 219 lb V8 putting 380 hp and 383 ft-lb of torque to the rear wheels at 6522 rpm via a 5 speed gearbox.

Back to jets, Sixth, By BaconAircraft is the Dragon. based on the Chengdu J-10, This aircraft has relaxed Stability and uses a rudimentary fly by wire. mind your speed and attitude especially in turns. or you will crash. a cynical conglomeration of parts, sketchy building techniques, and nefarious abuse of the new paint pattern tool bring you a "low part count" this special high performance jet and livery. -A Paraphrasement of the description by BaconAircraft. This aircraft features automatic canopy, airbrakes on a seperat activation switch than the throttle, an AOA limiter, drag chute, and a formation mode? more info needed here. at altitude you get a top speed well above 1070 mph however this jet gets better acceleration down low.

We Really need a smoke system! -me... and everyone else probably

height: 19.4 ft

1x 4075 lb low bypass afterburning turbofan producing 154 kN of thrust.

last, by Mod we have the Duster. a cute little agricultural utility jet powered Sesquiplane. damn that's a lot of words and i bet you thought I'd be egregious enough to call this a biplane, didn't you. THINK AGAIN!!! Based on the PZL M-15 Belphegor, the Duster is a jet powered stol built specifically to dust crops, and capable of a blistering 127 mph.
