When I heard that a sequel was coming out, I was thinking of buying it without much thought. However, after looking at the information that has been released so far and thinking about whether I really needed it, I started to think that maybe the current version would be fine. Also, I think there is a high risk in buying it immediately after release without checking the reviews (in fact, many games that have been postponed have not done well).
I'll probably buy it, but not right away. I'll wait a while, see what other people think, and if it's good I'll buy it, but if it's bad I'll wait until there's an update or something and the reviews improve.
Our time and money are limited, so instead of blindly buying a sequel, you might want to think twice about whether you really need it. Steam also has a feature that allows you to get a refund within two hours, so you might want to try that.
I've been thinking about this recently, so I wanted everyone to think about it again. Well, the final choice is yours.
Have a nice day!
its good you should buy
@MahBucket @32 ah, I must have missed that. Thanks!
@HuskyDynamics01 from the “good news and bad news” post
It probably won’t go up by much but there’s certainly a possibility
@HuskyDynamics01 sale on release day
@32 Where'd you hear that the price will increase?
If you buy on steam you can refund if you play for under 2 hours. Also the price is supposedly going to get higher over time so keep that in mind if you plan to wait.
Completely respectable, especially in this day and age. Good on you for making sure you'd be buying something actually enjoyable and worth your time instead of just going off of hype.
