On September 11, 2001, the Antonov An-225 Mriya set a world record for the heaviest airlifted cargo, carrying a total payload of 253.82 tonnes (279.79 short tons) consisting of five main battle tanks (T-72 and T-80). This record setting flight also saw the aircraft achieve an altitude of up to 10,750 meters (35,270 ft) and a speed of 763.2 km/h (474.2 mph).
@Graingy
Uhh
Gets flashbanged
That never happened you're imagining things
@SPWithLizzie No idea what you're talking about.
@Graingy
That one incident out talked about in my TSR-2 comment section
@BOSSentinel
Yes, 9/11 was a horrible event
But
There's something called bloody Christmas, it was something that happened in 20-21st of Dec (extended to 31st as wel) in 1963 in Cyprus
About 364 Turkish Cypriots and 174 Greek Cypriots were killed and thousands were displaced
Now why am I bringing this up?
It's like if I stopped you from celebrating Christmas bc of it (ok, I guess an AN-225 carrying a lot of stuff isn't as much celebration as Christmas, but just pretend that September 11th is RB's birthday)
I could go into the global influence the US has, not only culturally but militarily, and my (not so positive) opinions on global superpowers as a whole, but not today
All I'm gonna leave it as she's not celebrating the September 11 attacks, she's celebrating something else that happened on the same day, so you don't rlly have the right to tell her to stop
@SPWithLizzie What incident?
@Graingy
The incident?
@SPWithLizzie Wrong, all my moments are highlights. Every single one.
I can do no wrong.
@Graingy
Not all, but you do have some absolute peaks
So people call this an225 post disrespectful just because it same date with that tragedy? Maybe I should live in Sun or somewhere in ocean.
@SPWithLizzie All of my moments are agreeable. And my name is Grain.
@Graingy
Also agreeable Grainy moment?
Remember kids, nobody anywhere in the world can celebrate anything on 11/09, because America had a tragedy, and the world revolves around America, so if you have a birthday TOOO BAD, get over it, today you must mourn for a country you dont belong to because the knockoff British said so!!!!!!!!!!!! This is such a disrespectful post!!!!
(In other words, dont listen to those people. You're not American, the internet isn't American, I have seen people make actual jokes about the event and have less repercussions than this one post talking about something unrelated)
People who had their 24th birthday today are in shambles
@BOSSentinel @ShinyGemsBro @Graingy
.
Sorry guys, I didn't mean to be disrespectfull about tragedy that happened in America. I just want to mention another amazing event that happened in same day so it wasn't forgotten because there were tragedy in America.
@ShinyGemsBro hmm? Oh I didn’t mean to tag you
@Graingy I have. But dude. It’s something bad.
@BOSSentinel
Thanks for proving my point
@BOSSentinel Okay that's funny.
And do keep in mind tragedies happen daily. You just remember this one because it happened to the USA. The USA is not the world.
Make no mistake, the 9/11 attacks were horrible, but it was 24 years ago and there comes a point that people stop treating something as the end all be all of terrible events.
It happened, it was bad, the world sympathized, move on.
@Graingy “today the AN-225 sets a new world record on 9/11”
@ShinyGemsBro Who said this was about anyone? Today was a tragedy 24 years ago.
For everyone who would think this is disrespectful
- This isn't about you.
- Your history isn't the only history.
Anyhow, that's a Maus + one stowaway
@BOSSentinel What did it say?
@RB107 or “Today is the 24th anniversary of the ANN-225’s momentous feat!’
@BOSSentinel What about now?
